According to Ubisoft Massive Entertainment, Tom Clancy’s The Division will be getting the Public Test Server on the PC platform, allowing players to try out the updates early before they officially go live.

Many players suggested the studio to make a public test server in order to test the updates early, after which the studio decided to do so. In the latest blog update, developers confirmed that the PTS on PC will be opened ‘in the near future‘. Last week, it was reported that one update which was scheduled for release was delayed in the attempt to focus on the gameplay experience first.

However, the PTS will be made available before the update 1.4, which will be released next month. It was reported that the update 1.4 will be tried first on the PTS, and later, it will be released. Ubisoft says that they have been watching public feedbacks for the game on different social platforms such as Reddit, YouTube, Twitch and then decided to take steps in order to improve the game. “We wanted to break the news as soon as possible so you can have full visibility on the next steps we are implementing to improve the game.

Tom Clancy’s The Division was released in December last year for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and is termed as biggest new franchise launch by the Ubisoft. Stay tuned for more updates!
