Last week, Ubisoft revealed some details details regarding the expansion packs of their latest action-survival game, The Division, which was released yesterday. It was said that the game will continue to grow throughout the year, with updates and DLCs.
The Division: First two DLCs will be Xbox One exclusive for a month
The developers revealed their plan regarding the game’s DLCs but recently, Microsoft has made a deal with the Ubisoft, and according to the reported terms, first two expansion packs will be released for Xbox One exclusively, for a month. After 30 days of exclusivity, they will be released for rest of the two platforms as well.
The first two paid expansion packs are named as Underground and Survival respectively. The first one will allow players to run across subways of the city and hunt down the enemies, while another one will help the left overs in their struggle of survival.
As per the Ubisoft,
“Ubisoft has announced today that the first two of the three paid expansions for The Division – Underground and Survival – will have 30-day exclusivity on Xbox One, starting from the day of their respective launches,
Underground, the first paid expansion, puts Agents in New York’s labyrinthine underworld of tunnels and subways to track down groups of dangerous enemies.
Survival, the second paid expansion, tests players’ ability to survive and gather crucial supplies in an incredibly hostile environment.
“Last week, Ubisoft revealed more information on The Division’s full year-one content schedule, including details on two free updates that will be available simultaneously on all platforms when they launch.”
These two expansion packs will be released during summer this year, while the third one named as Last Stand will be released during winter this year. That’s indeed a good news for Xbox One gamers.
