No doubt 2016 will be the year of the Virtual Reality, and today we have a new product for this, talking about Tactile Skin “Teslasuit”, a suit that lets you feel the experiences of the games through electrical stimulation known as EMS (Electro Muscular Stimulation) integrated into the suit that allow you to feel sensations ranging from a cool breeze to the impact of a bullet. The suit will also simulate the feel of in game character, for example, when your character physically interacts with another (handshake or a hug).
Teslasuit: Virtual Reality Suit with electrical stimulation for 1,499 USD
“Teslasuit is based on technology, electro-haptic which is a” mother tongue “of our body. Simply, when we touch something, those feelings are transmitted to the brain via electrical impulses through our neural system. “
The suit has four core Processor running at a frequency of 1.00 GHz with 1 GB of RAM and a battery of 10,000 mAh capacity, all is hidden within the belt of his suit. This hardware gives life to TeslaOS, an operating system for the owner key operation.
The unit is apparently also capable, once the Mocap unit is fitted, of capturing the user’s body motion, feeding it directly to the application in real-time. What kind of fidelity is possible from what is presumably an IMU based system remains to be seen – we’ll report back with some more details on this soon.
The Pioneer model can already be pre-purchased at a price of $1,499.
