Publisher Reef Entertainment and developer Teyon announced Terminator: Resistance, a first-person single-player shooter based on the Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day movies will be released on November 15 in Europe and Australia, and on 3 December in North America for the PC platforms via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Terminator: Resistance is set in the post-apocalyptic future of Los Angeles, almost 30 years after Judgment Day, and expands on the War of the Future that lies ahead in James Cameron’s films, The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

The game features the new protagonist Jacob Rivers, a Resistance soldier of the Pacific Division. Although Jacob is a private soldier, he will soon discover that he has been marked for removal by Skynet’s latest threat.

While Skynet is destined to lose the war against humanity, the game intends to tell the story of Jacob and his sacrifice along his crusade against the machines, and the final decisive events of the battle against the defense network of Skynet.
