But there is still more interesting news about it. The Tekken 7 is likely to be a multi-platform title that allows the Cross Platform Play. Katsuhiro Harada, creator of the series, mentioned this possibility recently during an interview. It seems that the idea of implementing this feature is already in the mind of the development team.

There are some issues that would need to be worked out, as there would be the possibility of playing from a PC a user can cheat and take advantage over users of consoles. So we’ll simply need to sit tight for the team’s definite conclusion.

The game will feature new playable characters as Kazumi Mishima, Claudio, Josie, Shaheen, Katarina, Lucky Chloe, Gigas, and Akuma from Street Fighter franchise among others, for the first time it will be available outside delivery for aforementioned arcade.

“We are really excited to give audiences Xbox One and PC one of the toughest and most competitive fighting games,” said Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing NAMCO BANDAI Entertainment America Inc. “

Tekken 7 is scheduled to be released on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC in early 2017.
