Nightdive Studios just launched a Kickstarter for the upcoming shooter and RPG, System Shock reboot. The game was originally released back in 1994, while the studio plans to release the ‘re-imagined‘ edition of the game.

The studio has launched a crowdfunding campaign on the Kickstarter, setting the goal for $900,000. As per the Night Dive Studios, the players should expect a fully ‘revamped version of the game‘ with new and upgraded graphics, better textures, user interface and other tweaks. CEO of the studio, Stephen Kick stated that this is a full-fledged reboot of the game with getting into something new. He said;

We felt that the amount of passion and resources that we are putting into this game elevated it beyond the expectations that someone would have for a remaster

A pre-alpha demo which is free of cost is available for download at the moment from Steam, GOG or the Humble Store while the game is planned for release during holidays 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The studio also revealed the system specifications for the game and announced that System Shock 3 is under development.
