Syberia 2, famous adventure title from the Microïds and the sequel to the Kate Walker’s original adventure is now available for free on EA Origin, just ahead of the release of Syberia 3.

The adventure title Syberia 2 was developed back in 2004 by Microïds for the PlayStation 2 and the Xbox, while the game was released again two years ago for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows system and Mac OSX.

The game is currently available for grab at “On the House” tab under the section of “Free Games” on the Origin. After grabbing, the game will be added to your library permanently. This appears to be a good strategy by Microïds, by offering the classic adventurer for free so that the fans might consider purchasing the third entry to the franchise which is due next month.

Syberia 3 was originally slated for release sometime between 2014-2015, but as a result of number of delays, the game is finally confirmed for April 2017. According to the developers, the new installment will continue the adventure of Kate Walker.
