Cyanide and Focus Home Interactive brought a new trailer for the sequel to the excellent stealth title Styx: Master of Shadows, entitled Shards of Darkness. Styx returns this time with a more ambitious budget and implementation of new ideas. The game is developed with Unreal Engine 4.

When visiting hoben, the city of thieves, Styx Helledryn make a deal with a mysterious human officer. The task is to steal the highly coveted scepter of ambassador. Unfortunately, other perverse individuals are also interested in the valuable piece. Of course, the reward warrants the risk, since the official offers a lot of magical amber, the resource that Styx desperately needs to boost his powers.
In this sequel, the Elves were united with the Dwarves, and if there is something that these two races share is a common hatred for the Goblins. Styx: Shards of Darkness will feature new enemies, scenarios and a variety of mechanical pointing to refine skills and movement of Styx, such as holding the corners, climbing ropes and using his trusty knife as a kind of zip. In turn, this second part promises greater freedom of movement with improved stealth and murder aspects, one of the strengths of the first part.
Styx: Shards of Darkness will come to PS4, Xbox One and PC during the course of 2016.
