Through the latest earnings report of the company, Capcom confirmed that the new entry in the series of Street Fighter comes to PC and PlayStation 4 during the current fiscal year, ie before March 31, 2016. This date coincides with the previously rumored earlier this year.

The company expects to sell 2 million copies before the end of the fiscal year, covering both digital and physical copies.

Prior to its launch, Street Fighter V will have an online beta, that despite not having specified which platform is likely to try to test both the Crossplay support between PS4 and PC. The beta will be accessible to those who make the pre-purchase.

Street Fighter V is being developed by Capcom and Dimps with Unreal Engine 4 and it is estimated that their departure will be in early March 2016.
