During the Capcom Cup 2015, Capcom showcased the first cinematic intro of the new iteration of the Street Fighter saga whose initial and additional cast for 2016, bringing the total of 22 players.

Complemented intro, Capcom reminds us of the 16 characters that will be part of the initial roster, showing special moves and Critical Art of each.

Street Fighter V – Opening Cinematic Cutscene and 16 characters

As you have seen, the intro of Street Fighter V is a bit short and uninspired, especially in contrast to other Capcom fighting games such as Street Fighter Vs Tekken, Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and even Street Fighter IV. It does not tell us much about the history about new characters, so it will be a matter of waiting for more details about the plot.

On the other hand, Capcom presents the sensational Costumes Battle action, which in principle are available to Ryu, Chun-Li, Cammy and Bison.

Although costumes are definitely attractive, they are unique to different retail stores, online or in the case of Chun-Li. Ryu costume will be available at Gamespot, the Cammy at Best Buy, M. Bison in the Amazon, and finally, Chun-Li through the PlayStation Store or Steam, so it’s the only one who can acquire the PC users in digital form.

Hopefully Capcom reconsiders and allow suits to unlock later to Fight Money (in-game currency of Street Fighter V), or just sell them to those who want to buy them.

Street Fighter V will come to PC and PlayStation 4 on February 16, supporting cross-play between the two platforms.
