After revealing the release and retail price of its highly teased and anti cipated PlayStation VR during the event at GDC 2016, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Andrew House has announced that they are working with many developers including Electronic Arts (EA) and the Star Wars Battlefront with VR experience will be coming for PlayStation VR exclusively.

Star Wars Battlefront VR Experience Announced for PlayStation 4

The game is currently in development by EA, DICE and Lucasfilm with PlayStation 4 exclusive virtual-reality experience. That’s a good news for Star Wars fans. CEO and President Andrew House said that;

“We at PlayStation are thrilled to be partnering with our friends EA and LucasFilm to create something all new for PlayStation VR. This will be a Star Wars Battlefront gaming experience like nothing else; coming only to PlayStation VR from the talented team at DICE, where players can transport themselves to a galaxy far far way.”

Sony revealed the price of its upcoming PS VR headset which is set for $399 in the U.S and €399 in Europe while confirmed the release somewhere in October this year. Star Wars Battlefront is one of the top game revealed for PlayStation VR. It was also announced that there will be over 50 VR supporting games by the end of the year.

Star Wars Battlefront was released in November last year for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will be getting its first paid DLC, Outer Rim will be released on April 5th.
