The beta of Star Wars: Battlefront is already on the way and will run from 8 to 12 October on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In order to run it on PC, EA has posted the system requirements of this anticipated game.

These system requirements are also supposed to be for the final game, so be prepared when it will be released on November 17. We will need a lot of RAM.

The beta will include the Drop Zone modes on the Sullut map, Walker Assault on Hoth and Survival missions on Tatooine.

  • Walker Assault on Hoth: Multiplayer Battle with up to 40 players between rebel factions and the Empire. Assault Walker also gives us the chance to play as two of the most iconic characters of the universe of Star Wars:Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker.
  • Drop Zone Sullust: Very similar to what is known as King of the Hill, where a team must control a fixed subtracting points for the opponent, until one of them runs out of reinforcements area. The difference in Battlefront is that what we have to defend are few pods that fall in different areas of the map, more like Headquarters, the Call of Duty series. The team that captures the five pods wins. Every time one of them is open, will release a power-ups to use for the equipment to be captured, although it will be a time of vulnerability not get moving to the next pod, to collect the items.
  • Survival on Tatooine Mission: We play these missions in offline mode with a friend in co-op or split screen (the latter not available on PC). The aim will repel waves of imperial forces, including AT-STs, TIE fighters, stormtroopers and elite

Star Wars: Battlefront will be released on November 17th and will be available for next generation consoles and PC.
