Through the Star Wars blog, EA today announced that the multiplayer beta of Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Origin on October 4, for those who pre-order the game. The beta will open to the public two days later, from 6 to 9 October.

Players will be able to take their favorite heroes to battle in Galactic Assault mode at 20 vs 20 in Theed City, joining Republican soldiers and droids in a wild fight in the streets surrounding the royal palace. The multiplayer beta will also include a battle of Starfighter Assault, where fans will be able to jump into the flight deck of the most memorable Star Wars fights.

Fans who pre-order Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be able to play the beta before, starting October 4. In addition to pre-beta access, additional content will also be available, including the Yoda’s Epic Lightsaber Mastery Star Card, which will only be available until stocks last through October 9, 2017.
