“You wanted a Star Wars™ Battlefront™ Beta? As You Wish.” writes EA in its latest blog. EA confirmed Star Wars Battlefront beta last night, stating that the beta is coming in early days of the month of October, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

According to the report, the beta will feature Walker Assault on Hoth and Survival Mission on Tatooine and also, the players will witness a Rebel-Empire kind of battle consisting up to 40 players. The report also states that the players can play the famous iconic characters in the universe, Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker.

Moreover, a new mode named Drop Zone will also be added in the upcoming beta. Although details related to the mode are not shared by EA at the moment, but it is promised that they will be posting in coming days. EA is planning to make an companion app once beta goes live. That app will be featuring matters related to Base Command, and lets you earn in-game Credits that unlock Star Cards, weapons, check game stats and progression, customize load-outs and appearance, connect with friends, and also a notification tab. Gamers can access the app from StarWarsBattlefront.com and also it will be available for Android and iOS users.

The Star Wars Battlefront is scheduled for release on November 17, 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One. Stay tuned for more updates!
