Earlier this year, DICE confirmed the development of Star Wars Battlefront 2. Last week, the publisher EA revealed that the game will be released during the Fall 2017 and according to the game’s producer, the sequel will include a story mode, following the fans’ requests as the original game in the franchise lacked the campaign mode.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 To Feature Story Mode

Producer at DICE, Paul Keslin during his recent interview with the Eurogamer discussed about the Death Star DLC and the sequel of the series, Star Wars Battlefront 2. During his discussion, he revealed that the campaign mode of the game is something that’s already ‘locked in’. According to the producer, he is a fan of Star Wars and wants a good, immersive story mode for the game.

“Myself as a Star Wars fan, I want story, I want narrative, I want something I can play that immerses me in that world but gives me something to follow and chase. That’s actually what inspired us with the Death Star DLC and this – how we do add a bit of narrative to the multiplayer game?”

He then concluded that the players wanted that and they tried to give the best to them, but not a full-fledge campaign mode for the Battlefront. The team is trying to give everything they can for the Star Wars fans.
