It seems that the ‘hype’ of the PlayStation 5 has begun to deflate after a tweet from Insomiac Games, in which the studio revealed that one of its main Triple A titles exclusive to the Sony console “Spider-Man: Miles Morales” will have the usual two modes of graphical tweaks, making it clear that the console is not powerful enough to deliver what you would expect from a “masterpiece” with the already much-faster SSD out there, which is capable of delivering high quality graphics along with a high frame rate.

In this way, this console which is “so impressive that it will help drive future PCs” as per Tim Sweeney, CEO of Epic Games, will include a Performance Mode that will reduce the graphic quality of the game to run it at 4K @ 60 FPS resolution, so it is logical that it will include another optional mode that prevails the graphic quality to increase the FPS of the game.

Although it was not revealed what this high quality mode consists of, but it is logical to expect that the other mode will run the game on 4K @ 30 FPS, an option that will improve the visual aspect of the game.

At this time it is unknown of Ratched and Clank: Rift Apart, a future Insomniac Games PS5 release, will be available with a 60 FPS mode.
