Seems that the wave of delays is up again as more and more anti-cipated titles of this year has been delayed. Earlier this week, it was The Last Guardian and now Ubisoft’s South Park: The Fractured But Whole is among those who made it to the list.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole was confirmed for release on December 6th for PC and current gen consoles, but some hours ago, Ubisoft’s blog update post announced a delay in the game’s release. According to Ubisoft, the game will now be released during the first quarter of 2017 and the reason behind the delay is the additional time required by the developers in order to polish the game experience that must meet up to the expectations of fans.

According to Ubisoft’s blog update;

South Park: The Fractured But Whole will now launch on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC, calendar Q1 2017. The development team wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a forthcoming role-playing game, based on American animated TV series known as South Park. The game is another installment in the South Park franchise, after 2014’s South Park: The Stick of Truth, with many gameplay changes such as new super hero classes, more improvements to the battle system and much more. Ubisoft revealed the gameplay footage of the game during E3 2016.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is set for release sometime in the first quarter of 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Stay tuned for more updates!
