Sony showed off its world’s slimmest 4K UHD LED TV., at CES 2015 in Las Vegas. With a thickness of only 5mm which is hard to believe unless you see it. Meet the Sony XBR X900c Series TV it is significantly more sleek and slender than flagship phones, for example, the iPhone 6 and Sony Xperia Z3. The a new emphasizes another coasting style and making it Sony’s slimmer and slender TVs yet with edge-to-edge seeing.

The TV as mentioned above packs a resolution of 4K (3240×2160), and incorporates Sony’s Triluminos display tech.

It will run Google’s Android TV OS, work as a gaming gadget and give improved gimmicks like voice-empowered search through a remote furnished with a mic. With access to Google Play, customers can appreciate what they like to do on a cell phone or tablet, from their TV.

“With content being sourced from broadcast, Blu-ray, DVDs or even low-resolution internet videos, we designed these televisions to upscale to 4K resolution so that consumers can get the highest level viewing experience possible,” said Toshifumi Okuda, Sony Electronics deputy president.
