Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is among one of those highly anticipated game set for release next year. Last month, developer City Interactive Games revealed that the game’s released has been pushed till April 4th, 2017, witnessing the third delay.
Originally, the game was planned for late 2016 release, but was delayed till January 27th and then again re-scheduled for April 4th. It was already announced that the game will be an open world, with a way bigger world and lately, during a recent interview with WCCFTech, Senior Level Designer Tomasz Pruski revealed more information about the game.
Regarding the delays, he said that the game will be a rebirth of the Sniper Ghost Warrior series so the studio believes in delivering a great experience, a performance that meets up to the expectations of the fans. Such decisions are made in favor of their players.
He also affirmed that the Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 will be a fully open world. By fully open world, he referred that the players will be free to move from one place to another without any loading screens. But there will be loading screens if the players decide to move from one map to another. Regarding the in-game world, he said that the size will be around 27 km² full of challenges.
He noted that the main story of the game will take around 15 hours to complete while the side missions and quests will take about additional 20 hours to complete. Additionally, the game will be having dynamic weather with a day and night cycle, things that can affect player’s gameplay strategies and decision making.
Furthermore, he also concluded that the studio is planning to offer HDR support for the PC and PlayStation 4 and the game will be supporting multi-GPU option on the PC at launch, while no DirectX 12 support.
The game is due for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 4th, 2017. Stay tuned for more updates!
