Rebellion showcased the six minutes gameplay video of the fourth installment of Sniper Elite saga, coming this year to PC and next-gen consoles. Set after the events in its award-winning predecessor, Sniper Elite 4 back to transport players to World War II. This time we will visit the beautiful Italian peninsula, from the coastal towns bathed by the Mediterranean sun to gigantic Nazi mega-structures, through forests and vertiginous overwhelming mountain monasteries inspired by Monte Cassino.
Sniper Elite 4: Italy – First Gameplay Video
Karl Fairburne, undercover agent and marksman, will have to fight alongside the brave men and women of the Italian resistance to liberate their country from the yoke of fascism and to defeat a fearsome new threat. If he fails in his mission, there will be no battle of Normandy, there will be no D-Day and victory in Europe.
With an extensive campaign mode for 1 or 2 players and numerous both cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes, Sniper Elite 4 aims to provide the ultimate World War II shooter game, thanks to its unparalleled freedom to do the job with sniper through some maps that are much larger than those seen in Sniper Elite 3.
