Sapphire R9 295×2: The Card will be packed in the metal Suit Case.
In the Story of AMD Graphic Cards the Partners have not full open hand to fully make their own version, So we can say that all the R9 295X2 will be based on the reference design with Hydra Cooler. Nevertheless, The Company has decided to Ship the card in the Metal Suite Case rather than the Simple Box.
In terms of Specification the Sapphire R9 295X2 is based on Two 28nm Hawaii XT GPUs(2×2816 Steams Processors) will work at 1018MHz and will come at 512-Bit with Total VRM of 8GB(4Gb per GPU).
Power consumption, is as expected, very high, 500 Watt TDP is really ground breaking since most of the mainstream users have a PSU that handles Max 500W. For this GPU, one does not simply rely on a mainstream PSU. It requires two eight-pin (six plus two pin) auxiliary power connectors and the connecting bus has PCI-E x16 lane conforming PCI-E 3.0 standards.
We don’t know anything about the availability date of Sapphire’s R9 295X2 but one thing the Price will be $1,499.
