Samsung’s first Tizen OS-controlled cell phone is unveiled. Meet the Samsung Z1 Tizen OS powered smartphone. Samsung Z1 packs a 4 inch screen with 480p resolution, this time it’s PLS display instead of Samsung’s conventional Super AMOLED.

Samsung Z1 Tizen Powered Smartphone:

Coming towards processing power, it is controlled by a 1.2 GHz A7 dual core chip along with 768 MB RAM. Samsung Z1 incorporates built-in 4 GB memory which is expandable up to 64gb through MicroSD card. It runs Samsung’s Tizen 2.3 OS.

A 3.1 MP rear and a 0.3 MP front camera is there. Samsung claimed that it has packed 1500mAh battery with guaranteed 8 hours of talk time. Additionally all basic features like 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS is there, Bluetooth 4.1 is there too which is most recent. Samsung Z1 bears the ability to run Anrdoid apps.

There is a good news too as Samsung mentioned that they will offer consumers free music, movies and TV content through selected partners. The phone is ready for sale. It will feature a price tag of just $90.
