Yesterday there was a news that Samsung began sending invitations to the media for its next event “Galaxy Unpacked”, which will be dedicated to introduce the new flagship device of the Galaxy Note lineup: The Galaxy Note 7.

The event dedicated to the new high – end smartphone will take place on August 2 in New York. It is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am and will be broadcast online.

Regarding the name of the next Galaxy Note, if you keep consistency with the previous model then it should be numbered with 6 and not 7, Samsung took the opportunity to explain that the leap to 7. They want to align this new product with its other flagship, the Galaxy S7, and thus unify its product range.

In terms of specifications, the new flagship device is expected to come with a 5.7 – inch Quad HD screen, Snapdragon 820 SOC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, plus 12MP cameras and USB-C connectivity.
