After numerous leak, Samsung today announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), a high-mid range smartphone uses a unibody chassis made of aluminum where a generous AMOLED screen of 5.7 inches is mounted with a Full HD resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels powered by the same SoC used in the Galaxy S6, Exynos 7420, consists of four Cortex-A57 cores with four Cortex-A53 cores attached to 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card up to 256 GB capacity.

With regard to cameras, the smartphone has a generous main camera of 16 megapixels with the support of a single LED flash, a front camera of 8 MP, supported by a battery of 3300 mAh, the latest connectivity such as WiFi 802.11ac, 4G LTE or NFC to make payments using Samsung Pay and fingerprint in the physical Home button. The Galaxy A8 (2016) comes with the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with Grace UX user interface and it will debut in South Korea in blue color on October 1 at a price of around $580.
