One day after the announcement of Infinity Display technology, which will allow Samsung to launch its first foldable smartphones, we have new details of the device that will give it life.

In its phone form, the so-called Galaxy Flex, will give access to a “small” screen (considering standards today) of 4.58 inches in a 21: 9 format giving us an HD + resolution of 1960 x 840 pixels. Despite that size, it will be large in dimensions, because of the huge frames and a quite pronounced thickness of several centimeters. When you unfold it, then you will have access to a 7.3-inch tablet with a QXGA + resolution of 2152 x 1536 pixels.

With regard to the price, there would be several models and rumors already suggest that the most basic model will start at $ 1,500 (which would easily be more than 1,500 euros to change), while the top model range would cost around 2,000 dollars. To justify the price, in addition to the folding screen, we will have a top range SoC, high-end camera sensors, and the possibility of choosing a version with 5G connectivity.

It is expected that at least we have to wait for CES 2019 in Las Vegas to know the details, or in the worst case, at the end of February for the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona.
