Two days ago Qualcomm has officially announced its Snapdragon 820, and today Samsung has announced its latest SoC which will directly compete with Snapdragon 820. We are talking about Exynos Octa August 8890 (Exynos 8890), SoC that comes to life through a manufacturing process of 14nm FinFET incorporating four cores ARMv8 based on 64-bit architecture with four cores more mundane such as Cortex-A53. This translates into an increase of 30 percent in performance with a 10 percent decreased power consumption.
