The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has announced that they are currently working on a new sort of batteries, which will have a much higher capacity. Furthermore, they are working to make camera sensors very thin. Soon we will see very very thin smartphones, but Bendgate? LOL!

According to SamMobile, Samsung will bring smartphones bearing highly upgraded batteries with a thinnest cameras in 2017.

As per now Samsung is working on a high capacity battery and as per leaks, Samsung will introduce these new thin batteries with a massive capacity of 7800 mAh.

Samsung also intends to increase the battery operating voltage up to 4.4 (V) in the coming months, in the meantime, to reach to 4.5 V, 2017 index. The new technology will allow the battery to charge up to 80% in just over half an hour.

Samsung engineers are right now developing  RWB sensors for smart phone cameras. Which will provide way better color restoration. In addition, the company plans to reduce the pixel size from 1.12 microns to 1.0 microns, thus, this will reduce the thickness of the camera sensor up to 23% means from 6.5 mm to 5 mm for 16 MP sensor, and from 5.2 to 4.5 mm for 13 MP camera sensors.

Summing up all this gives us an clear idea that in near future we will have smartphones with huge battery lives, lower charging time and way better camera image quality.
