Samsung has stuck with the largest industries in court, Apple, Microsoft and the last has been with NVIDIA, all to evolve in the market for mobile devices. And for the Samsung’s recent case we heard bad news for NVIDIA, as NVIDIA has lost the lawsuit filed to Samsung.

Samsung didn’t infringe on NVIDIA patents, judge says

The administrative law judge in the United States said that there was no violation of the NVIDIA patents by Samsung and Qualcomm. Judge Thomas Pender, the International Trade Commission (ITC) determined with the initial findings that Samsung did not infringe two patents from NVIDIA, and that while infringed by a third, the judge ruled that the patent was not valid because it was not a new invention compared to previously known patents. NVIDIA originally said that Samsung and Qualcomm had infringed seven patents around the GPU when the lawsuit was filed last year.

NVIDIA still believes that its patents are valid and have been infringed by Samsung and Qualcomm, which has called for the complete information to the judge probably appeal the ruling. If they get to the third patent is accepted as an offense, Samsung can not import its mobile devices and smart TVs in the United States.
