CD Projekt RED continues to reap benefits, and the latest financial results of 2016 revealed that the most famous The Witcher saga has managed to reach the 25 million copies sold, which translates to about 584 million PLN in sales revenues and 251 million PLN ($60 million) net income.
CD Projekt Has Sold 25 Million Copies of The Witcher Games
The company expects to continue harvesting large numbers, and for this it relies on its great project to date, the Cyberpunk 2077, along with its popular card game based on The Witcher, Gwent, which should come out in the second half of the year.

The strong market position of The Witcher underpins the commercial success of the Blood and Wine expansion pack, published in May. The 2016 revenues and net profit of the CD PROJEKT Capital Group were equivalent to 75% of the corresponding figures for 2015, which is when the release of Witcher 3 took place.
