After so many big announcements and surprises from Microsoft this E3, it was being predicted that the sales of Xbox One may boost up due to the efforts of Microsoft on focusing its console and announcing more features like backward compatibility, exclusives and more.

A new report published by a Spanish website confirms that the sales chart of Xbox One has been doubled in Spain since E3 2015.

Our colleague Gonzalo Blanco is right now in the Jarama circuit covering the event 24 hours a Ford. This was the place chosen for Pitzialis Lidia and Carlos Villasante have confirmed that sales of the Xbox One console has doubled after the conference. It is very good news for communities like ours, most people see with good eyes our preferred platform.

But Microsoft’s gaming console still has to compete against its rival Sony’s PlayStation 4, which is currently leading the sales chart in U.S and Europe. In fact, a recent report also confirmed that the PS4 is dominating over Xbox One and holds around 90% of the market share.

There is much more to come during the GamesCom event which will be held during August 6 to 9, 2015. Stay tuned for more updates!
