Crytek seems to have limited the use of Very High Texture on GPUs under 3GB of VRAM. There are also some special cases where players with having Graphics Cards of 3GB or Even 4Gb of VRAM are not able to enable this option. By making some changes in the confg file, you can entertain yourself with this feature, if your GPU has more than 2Gb of VRAM.

The difference between High and Very High does not seem so obvious, yet we leave the solution for those who are playing Ryse: Son of Rome with all the best. If you are willing to trun On this option you have to add some lines under “sys_localization_folder=Localization” in your system.cfg file.

  • sys_spec_texture=4
  • sys_spec_textureresolution=4

While doing this your Texture will be set to Very high. To enable this option in SLI Setup, You have to download Nvidia Inspector profile and add Ryse.exe. For Example we do the same with Sleeping Dogs.

  1. Click the tool icon.
  2. Select from the list of games
  3. Add Ryse exe
