Foregin media have revealed some new details about the upcoming open beta of the spin-off police of the Battlefield series (Battlefield Hardline changed the game by letting us play as thieves and cops this time, unlike its predecessor where we play as soldiers), developed by Visceral Games, creators of the Dead Space saga. The Battlefield Hardline beta will include two game modes Hotwire and Conquest on the maps Dust Bowl and Downtown. There will be no level limits or progression and all weapons and gadgets available for use.

In the official store of Xbox, Microsoft has listed the open beta of Battlefield Hardline for next February 3rd. While this is only for Xbox 360, Visceral Games had already reported that the beta would be available for all platforms, including PC.

It is not the first time that this date is filtered. It has happened previously in an email received by members of Ronku (an EA program sponsored YouTube celebrities to present their games).
