It seems that Rockstar has gotten used to the easy money with Grand Theft Auto 5, and its next release would be the remastered of the most iconic GTA titles on all possible platforms, and that includes even the Nintendo Switch.
Rockstar is reportedly finalizing the remastered versions of Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. These games will reach PC, PlayStation 5/4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and as we already anticipated, even the Nintendo Switch, which would mean the arrival of the first GTA game in the third person to a Nintendo console.

This information agrees with some rumors that came to light a few days ago, and basically revealed that Rockstar was preparing the launch of several games in the form of remastered versions. In case you don’t know remastering is a superficial facelift of a game, on the other side, remake is always more interesting since it implies that the game has been redone from scratch to offer a notable leap in visual quality.
The studio behind the development of these remasters is Rockstar Dundee, formerly known as Ruffian Games until it was acquired by Take-Two in October 2020 and rebranded to be part of the Rockstar family. The studio is also reportedly assisting in the development of the next next-gen version of Grand Theft Auto 5, which is scheduled for release on November 11 this year.
