Speculations regarding the development of new Red Dead Redemption game have been emerging since earlier this year and during April, a report claimed to have access to the new Red Dead game’s map was published which sparked more fuel to the rumors and speculations. A couple of months ago, Rockstar started hiring new terrain artists for its new, unannounced project by asking the candidates to submit their resume online.
Some reports also suggest that the new game in the series will be a prequel, set on the eastern side of the same map used in the previous game. Now the things are quite different as the Rockstar is known for teasing the projects a bit longer. Recently, Take-Two Interactive confirmed that the work on ‘some exciting projects will be revealed soon‘.
Red Dead Redemption was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in May 2010, and was made backwards compatible for the Xbox One in July this year that led to the rise of the game’s sales by 6000%. Stay tuned for more updates!
