Through its account on Tumbler, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics bring us spectacular images (again in a strange resolution) of the PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Rise of the Tomb Raider – New PC Screenshots

While Square Enix has not yet unveiled the recommended requirements for Rise of the Tomb Raider – just the minimum for now – NVIDIA has released one of its performance analysis and recommend a GTX 970 to play in 1080p at 60fps with high details perhaps they are not the highest and GTX 980Ti to play in 1440p. Two GTX 980 probably are more than enough to run this game at 4K resolution.

NVIDIA also ensures that there will be new GameReady drivers for Rise of the Tomb Raider, which theoretically should also include support for SLI, as in the first part.

In the PC platform, reboot of the Tomb Raider series will use additional graphics technologies such as VXAO NVIDIA and AMD Pure Hair. You can see the complete graphic options and the minimum requirements in this publication.

The PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available on January 28 as a digital download via Steam, Windows Store, Amazon, Square Enix e-Store and other major retailers – both physical and online stores. The Standard Edition is priced at $59.99 USD. The Digital Deluxe Edition will cost you $89.99 USD includes a Season Pass for almost all current and future DLCs.
