Rise of the Tomb Raider was announced back in 2014, which was under development by Crystal Dynamics. It was planned as timid exclusive for Xbox One, then after two months, it was released for PC as well. The game was announced for PlayStation 4 also but the exact release date wasn’t mentioned.

Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 Version Could Be Developed by Avalanche Studios

Anyhow, it seems that the PlayStation 4 version of Rise of the Tomb Raider is under development by Avalanche Studios, the studio developed recent action-adventure, Just Cause 3.

According to the recent report published by NerdLeaks, they have managed to get two images from .css file from the official website of Rise of the Tomb Raider, where the logo of Sony PS4 and Avalanche Studios were mentioned. The images can be seen below;

The logo for PlayStation 4 makes sense but we’re still thinking about the logic behind Avalanche Studio’s logo. Maybe the studio is working with the publisher Square Enix just like it did previously on many occasions. But still we don’t have any official confirmation yet.

We’re also yet to hear a final release date of Rise of the Tomb Raider for PlayStation 4. Earlier it was said ‘sometime in late 2016’. The game is now available for Xbox One and PC. Stay tuned for more updates!
