Rise of the Tomb Raider after being released on Xbox One and Windows 10, is all set to make its way towards PlayStation 4 later this year. The game was released last year on Xbox One and for Windows 10 earlier this year due to the deal between Microsoft and Square Enix.

Anyhow, PlayStation 4 gamers should be happy as the studio has finally announced the release date for the PlayStation 4 version of the game today. Lately, we reported the release date which was leaked by Italian Gamestop and the official release date by Square Enix confirms that the game will be released on October 11th.
According to the developer, the Rise of the Tomb Raider will be getting a new story chapter named as “Blood Ties”, new weapons, co-op modes, outfits, Expedition Cards. More interestingly, the new story mode Blood Ties will be supported with PlayStation VR and it will also feature a new zombie mode “Lara’s Nightmare”.
According to Ron Rosenberg, head of Crystal Dynamics, the 20th Anniversary of Tomb Raider “provided the perfect opportunity for us to deliver a new Tomb Raider experience. With the addition of PlayStation VR support, you can play the world through Lara’s eyes for the first time in franchise history.”
There will be no season pass as the game will include all the expansion packs released for the game. No announcement regarding the price has been made. Rise of the Tomb Raider is available for Windows 10 PCs, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Stay tuned for more updates!
