Capcom has released a new batch of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 screenshots, showing some of the enemies and monsters (called Afflicted) that will face our heroine Claire Redfield and Moira Burton.
The Japanese company promises a gameplay similar to the roots of the series, emphasizing the survival horror action. While Claire will be more oriented to the action gameplay and Moira act more like stand, giving herbs, assisting her with a flashlight and other complementary actions. The surprise is that the campaign will be playable as both single player and cooperative.
The story will run during the events of Resident Evil 5 Resident Evil 6, and take place in a detention center located on a deserted island. The plot begins with Claire and Moira wakes up after being kidnapped.
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 does not present the classic zombies, or Ooze of Revelations, but there will be a new type of enemy called Afflicted (distressed), who although seem quite different to the zombies. They can move quickly and cause serious damage to the player.
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will out in early 2015 for PC and next-Gen consoles. Each chapter will cost you $6, while the full season in digital format will be worth you $25, and it will include additional content. The retail edition on the other hand, will cost you $40 and will include further additional content, although not yet have details on what it will be.
