Celebrating their attendance at Gamescom 2016, Capcom showcased a new trailer and screenshots of the seventh iteration of the Resident Evil saga ‘Resident Evil 7‘, presenting this time, the characters Marguerite Baker and a mysterious young woman.

Set in a sinister plantation in Dulvey, Louisiana, the Baker family, including Jack and Marguerite were residents of the place, but no one has seen or heard about them in a long time. It is not known where they are, but it is clear that something is not right. It remains to be seen who is the mysterious girl we see in the gameplay video and how it relates to Marguerite.
Resident Evil 7 is set after the events of its predecessor and build on a new graphics engine (RE Engine) that provide photo-realistic graphics and a level of immersion that will redefine the roots of the saga. During the press conference Sony has also announced that the game will be fully compatible with PlayStation VR. The Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is available to subscribers of PS Plus. The full game comes on January 24, 2017.
