Capcom announces the availability of the first patch for the demo of Resident Evil 7 (which will not be part of the endgame) entitled “Teaser: Beginning Hour”, adding support for processors without SSE4.1 (AMD Phenom, Intel Core2 series), and providing Optimization improvements when using HBAO + from NVIDIA.
Resident Evil 7 – Demo Patch adds support for AMD Phenom, Intel Core2 series CPUs
In this new patch developer also fixed a problem that caused the screen size to be changed from full screen to Windowed mode. Resident Evil 7 will use Denuvo Anti-Tamper technology and it will be launched on January 24 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Make sure you meet the minimum or recommended system requirements.
Resident Evil 7 PC Demo Patch Changelog:
- Game now works on CPUs without SSE4.1 functionality (e.g. AMD Phenom, Intel Core2 series)
- Optimized HBAO+ performance
- Fixed an issue that caused the screen size to change when switching from full screen to windowed mode.
- In-game purchase button now correctly links to the full game store page.
