Resident Evil 7, a new entry in the famous horror-survival franchise is almost here for the top three platforms, being a virtual reality exclusive for the PlayStation 4. The game was announced last year during Capcom’s E3 presentation, after being teased for almost a year.
The game got released today in some regions of the world, one day ahead of the official release date and according to the reports, the day one patch for Resident Evil 7 for PlayStation 4 is out now. The patch is sized around 806.2 MB, bringing some bug fixes and added new trophies in the game. Furthermore, the update also brought support for the first DLC titled “Banned Footage Vol. 1“.
Below are the changes included in the new update;
- Now supports add-ons
- New trophies added
- Now supports notifications of new additional chapters
- Fixed certain bugs and issues
While the new trophies included in the day one patch are as follows;
Dead By Dawn? – Complete Nightmare. – Bronze
Sleepless In Dulvey – Complete Night Terror – Silver
Like Mama Used To Make – Complete Bedroom – Bronze
Ratcatcher – Find all the dead rats in Bedroom in a single play – Silver
Ethan Never Dies – Complete Ethan Must Die – Gold

These changes were captured by the changelog after the update 1.01 while detailed patch notes are yet to be provided by Capcom in a blog update. Resident Evil 7 is scheduled for worldwide release on January 24th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Stay tuned for more updates!
