Capcom’s latest installment to the famous horror, survival franchise, the Resident Evil 7 Biohazard was released yesterday across the world while just some hours after its release, the developer studio provided details related to the first and second DLC for the game.
According to Capcom, the first Resident Evil 7 DLC is called as the “Banned Footage Volume 1” which will be released on January 31st as a PlayStation 4 timed exclusive. The first DLC costing around $9.99 will include a new game mode “Ethan Must Die” as well as two new chapters of Bedroom and Nightmare. The details of the first DLC mentioned right below;
Bedroom: Figure out how to escape from a locked room — but don’t let Marguerite Baker know you’ve been out of bed.
Nightmare: Fend off waves of enemies and survive until morning while crafting useful items and traps to stay alive.
Extra Mode: Ethan Must Die: A tough-as-nails mode separate from the tapes and story of the main game. (Does not support PS VR).
Whereas the second DLC known as “Banned Footage Volume 2” is scheduled for release on February 14th, costing around $14.99. Like the previous DLC, the volume 2 will also bring two chapters named as “21” and “Daughters” along with a mode called “Jack’s 55th Birthday”.

Both the expansion packs are included in the game’s season pass, while the Capcom plans to launch a new story episode called Not a Hero in during Spring 2017 for free. The new free episode is said to bring a new story which will be different from the game’s storyline.
