Capcom’s iconic Resident Evil 2 is getting remastered edition with its full glory as the developers revealed the gameplay trailer during E3 earlier this week, with us recalling all the childhood memories.

According to the game producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, the giant alligator will be a part of Resident Evil 2 Remake as it is one of his favorite characters. Moreover, in his interview with Polygon, he said, “I think it’s part of Resident Evil 2’s history, and people have lots of great memories of it.”

He did mention that the animal didn’t fit in the remake’s world in the beginning, but the team worked on it several times until it finally managed to make in the game’s world. However, the players can expect a little bit changes in the gameplay as compared to the original one. Likewise, the game’s camera angle will be placed over the character’s shoulder as compared to the original third person type or fixed angle. Moreover, Leon and Claire will be having their own single player campaign modes.

Lastly, characters who were the part of original game such as Tofu and Hunk will also be present in the remastered version, which creates the hype of this game among RE fans.
