Recently, Remedy Entertainment has confirmed partnership with South Korean developer Smilegate Entertainment for making the story mode of upcoming first person shooter CrossFire 2.

CrossFire 2 is under development by Remedy Entertainment and Smilegate Entertainment

CrossFire 2, a sequel to the famous first person shooter and top grossing of the year 2014 was recently confirmed and is under development by Smilegate, co-partnered with with the Remedy Entertainment. The studio selected Remedy for working on the story mode for the game as it has previously worked on top games such as Max Payne 3, Alan Wake and the recent Quantum Break.

In the western countries, CrossFire is not that popular as Counter Strike or Team Fortress but the game has a huge fan base in Chinese and Korean markets.

According to the Remedy, developers are excited to work for the sequel.
