The Xiaomi subsidiary, today announced no less than three smartphones, the Redmi 10X 5G, Redmi 10X Pro and the Redmi 10X 4G, all powered by MediaTek SoCs, allowing them to come at a more aggressive price.
The redmi 10X 5G and redmi 10X Pro are very similar, since they both share an AMOLED panel of 6.57 inches with a resolution Full HD + protected by the Gorilla Glass 5 and driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC that enables support for Dual SIM 5G. Both share a selfie camera in a drop-shaped notch, although its 16 megapixels for 10X 5G and 20 megapixels for 10X Pro.
At the rear both devices share a main 48-megapixel sensor + 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle and 5-megapixel macro sensor, although the Pro model adds an 8-megapixel telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom.
Inside, the MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC (4x Cortex-A76 @ 2.60 GHz + 4x Cortex-A55 @ 2.00 GHz + Mali-G57 MP5 GPU) is accompanied by 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB / 128GB / 256GB of internal storage, 4520 mAh battery with fast charge of 22.5W for the 10X 5G and 33W for the 10X Pro, both are resistant to splashes of water, rain, etc. with IP53 certification, they have a headphone jack, and the Pro version includes NFC.
The Redmi 10X 5G was announced in China at a local exchange price of 205 euros (6GB / 64GB), making it the cheapest 5G smartphone on the market and increasing to 230, 270 and 310 euros for the 6GB / 128GB versions, 8GB / 128GB and 8GB / 256GB. The Redmi 10X Pro starts at 295 euros (8GB / 128GB until reaching 330 euros (8GB / 256GB).
The Redmi 10X 4G is still the Redmi Note 9 with another name and better RAM option, so it offers 6.53 “ Full HD +, MediaTek Helio G85 SoC (2x Cortex-A75 @ 2.00 GHz + 6x Cortex-A55 @ 1.80 GHz + Mali-G52 MC2 GPU) coupled with 4GB / 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB of storage, quad 48 + 8 + 2 + 2 megapixel rear camera, and 5020 mAh battery with 18W fast charge. Its price is 130 euros (3GB / 64GB) and 155 euros (4GB / 128GB).
