The map for Rockstar’s forthcoming sequel to famous game Red Dead, Red Dead Redemption 2 has allegedly leaked online.

The image for the game’s map was firstly posted on NeoGAF by Mideon, which was removed some time later but according to Techradar, this is the actual map confirmed by their close and independent source, will be featuring in upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2.

As per Techradar,

The report also says that the new Red Dead Redemption 2 will be a prequel to the previous game in franchise, Red Dead Redemption as well as this new map will be set only to the east.

“If you look at the bottom left (click to zoom) you’ll see the Great Plains, home to the Blackwater settlement that sits at the top right of the Red Dead Redemption map – so you can see how the two come together. The lack of a railroad in the Great Plains, which featured in RDR, also points to this being earlier in the timeline.”

Red Dead Redemption 2 has been greatly influenced by the internet rumors for quite a while. Although, Take-Two haven’t confirmed the title or its development yet, but the CEO once said that is now a “permanent franchise”.
