A few hours of the official launch of the GeForce GTX 1060, we have numerous leaks about the performance of the mid-range graphics card from NVIDIA that come as a successor of GeForce GTX 960 with the performance of  GeForce GTX 980 (according to NVIDIA). Thanks to the leaked performance tests now we can put GeForce GTX 1060 in a race between the Radeon RX 480 and GeForce GTX 980.

Chinese portal HEPC Hardware had already published its review ahead of time, although the source fails to convince, because all graphics cards were tested under 2K and 4K resolutions, and all these mid-range graphics cards are for 1080p resolution. So as expected at 2k and 4k resolution the GeForce GTX 980 almost winning in all tests.

In terms of specifications the Graphics card uses Pascal GP106 silicon features 1280 CUDA Cores that reaches a Turbo frequency of 1709 MHz with 6GB of GDDR5 @ 8.00 GHz memory fed by a PCI-Express 6 – pin connector and a TDP of 120W.
