AMD inadvertently leaked on its website the AMD Radeon Pro Duo, which translated into a hybrid between the Radeon R9 Fury X2 and AMD FirePro (professional graphics card). This means that it results in a Radeon Fury X2, but slightly longer equipped with FirePro capabilities, also an advanced water cooling system signed by Cooler Master. The Radeon Pro Duo and will require three PCI-Express connectors for power (presumably 8-pins).
Radeon R9 Fury X2 Codenamed Is Radeon PRO DUO, World’s Fastest Gaming GPU with FirePro capabilities
It is unclear what exactly would be shared between the series, but Radeon Pro Duo is clearly a different product. It is said to become the world’s fastest gaming graphics card and the best for a virtual reality experience, the Radeon Pro Duo is not only designed for players but also for game developers enabling them to develop and test their own game without purchasing a graphic part.
The Radeon Pro Duo would be presented on March 14, but may be available after 1 or 2 months of its official announcement. Regarding the specifications, as usual: two Fiji XT silicon that will offer 8192 Stream Processors, 512 TMUs and 128 ROPs at a frequency around 730 MHz with 8 GB of memory HBM1 @ 500 MHz with memory interface of 8192 bits give us a power of 12 TFLOPS.
