Project Cars is delayed until March 20, 2015

According to Mad Studios, the main reason for the delay is the date of release was close to the release of multiple games of high caliber. The games which are going to make an entry into the market in November includes: Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Far Cry 4, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Dragon Age: Inquisition. Almost every title is the most anticipated one and lots of players are looking forward to the release. So, it seems like Namco Bandai did not want to lose sales.

It’s a bit illogical since none of those games are racing type. The Crew was the competitor, but previously it was delayed until December 2. Who had thought that Project Cars will be released in November. Project Cars aimed at a very select audience and no Call of Duty, FPS or RPG decision would change their sales to the lower rate. The lover of racing games was waiting for this game over 3 years ago and they come with a illogical reason.

“Our goal has always been to deliver a title reference covering the desires and hopes of racing fans around the world; something with enhanced features and community, which has provided a truly memorable experience and pioneering content, “ said Ian Bell, Studio Head at Slightly Mad Studios. “Despite being a difficult decision to make, the change in the release date of the game gives you a better chance of success and visibility and the opportunity to polish the game even further to achieve the highest standards both for us and for demand and expectation of our community. We are anticipating that they can see all I have been working in recent months. “
