Project Cars 2 developer Slightly Mad Studios have dropped some new bombs during his recent question and answer session regarding their new racing where it appears that they might be working on a new racing franchise associated to Fast & Furious.

Ian Bell, CEO of Slightly Mad Studios recently spoke with YouTuber SpotTheOzzie in the question/answer session of upcoming Project Cars 2 where he acknowledged that the development team is now working on a new game based on Hollywood’s racing series, Fast & Furious.

He didn’t directly mention the name of his new project but from the statement, we can easily find out that he has been pointing towards the famous film series. Have a look into his statements right below;

Guess what the latest Need for Speed game is doing, and have a think about which Hollywood film they’re copying. And then I can tell you we have a six-year deal with that major Hollywood company that’ll beat what Need for Speed is doing. For the next six years.

Previously, it was also speculated by the COO of the studio that a new racing maybe under development by the studio but let’s see what the studio is actually up to.

Project Cars 2 is scheduled for release on September 22nd, 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One while it will also have enhanced version of the game for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. Stay tuned for more updates!
